Who We Are
Nick D. Patton, Attorney

Nick grew up in Winslow, AZ, where he graduated from high school. After he finished high school, Nick served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ventura, CA where he learned Spanish. After finishing his mission he moved to Tucson Arizona where he attended the University of Arizona. He received a B.S in Environmental and Water Resource Economics. He continued his education at the University of Arizona and received his J.D. from the James E. Rogers College of Law with a Certificate in Environmental Law emphasizing Water Law. While at school he met his wife Kaylynn and they are married with 5 children. Nick loves the outdoors, being with his family and woodworking.

Our firm has much to offer. It provides the people of the White Mountains and surrounding areas of Northern Arizona with competent, responsive legal representation. We can handle all of your Real Estate, Business, Probate, and Estate Planning needs. We can also handle Natural Resource matters including Water Law and related issues.

Starting in law school Nick had several real life experience and hands-on opportunities that he jumped on. These included clinics and research classes. In the clinics he was able to work with real people and real cases under the direction of an attorney. Nick researched real cases, drafted pleadings, and participated in a full trial. He had an internship with the Pinal County Public Defender's Office and was a law clerk at the Navajo County Attorney's Office. In all of these learning experiences Nick found great satisfaction in helping and fighting for the people he represented. He enjoyed seeing that everyone was treated fair and that the law was followed.
Since law school, Nick worked at Brown & Brown Law Offices in matters of water law, real estate, business formations and litigation,probate, estate planning. He also helped to represent various municipalities and school boards. After leaving Brown & Brown, Nick continued representing his various clients at Moore Law. He continued to practice in the same areas. Nick has taken advantage of the opportunities at these firms to continue to grow and learn about the law from many perspectives. He learned a lot in each position and has taken that with him to become the attorney he is today.
